Modeled on a variety of granite called Plima, this collection combines the myriad technical and design advantages of porcelain stoneware with the natural look and feel of a highly sought-after stone. In fact, it was a local businessman who discovered it in the 1980s when a large boulder was cut from the banks of the Plima Stream, revealing a glistening blue-gray granite.
